The role as part of the APAC Data & Analytics Hub is critical in Heineken to operationalise our strategy of standardised and scalable data foundations across the region and enterprise.
Position Overview:
The Master Data (MDM) Lead is pivotal in the Data Management team. He or she plays a vital role in creating and maintaining master data records (vendors, materials, and customers) through adherence to standardised workflows. This role significantly contributes to the overall quality of master data, ensuring accurate and efficient initiation and completion of data requests.
Your role & responsibilities
Mature Reference & Master data quality throughout the entire data lifecycle, whilst adhering to global specifications and industry best practices.
Develop a reference and master data management strategy for the OpCo that is in line with the global strategy.
Implement relevant data standards, processes, and policies and ensure that they are adhered to.
- Create and maintain Master Data records in accordance with data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that the correct information is captured in the data request.
- Initiate data requests on the Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and verify data accuracy.
- Monitor data quality and perform regular data audits to identify and rectify inconsistencies or errors.
- Contribute to developing and continuously improving data management processes and workflows.
- Support data governance initiatives and comply with data security and privacy regulations.
List of Workflows:
- Vendor/Material/Customer Create / Change / Flag for Deletion (MDM platform).
- Customer Create / Change / Flag for Deletion (ERP).
- Vendor/Customer Bank Create/Change.
- Reference Data workflow – Create / Change.
And any other task assigned by the Line Manager.
Your skills & qualifications
Qualifications/ Experience/ skills required per job level:
- University graduation or equivalent; further data management or IT education.
- Experience in data management is preferred, as well as a strong understanding of master data management principles.
- Familiarity with MDM concepts are advantageous. We provide training on our platforms.
- Ability to collaborate with business users to ensure compliance with global standards for master data creation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English.
- Understanding the FMCG industry and business domains such as Commerce, Supply Chain, and Finance is beneficial.
