Your role & responsibilities

  • Analyze blockchain data to identify potential MEV opportunities.

  • Assist in developing and optimizing MEV strategies.

  • Perform offline testing of strategies to ensure effectiveness.

  • Develop data analysis tools and optimize trading strategies.

Your skills & qualifications

1. Required Skills

1.1. Programming Skills: 

  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms: Ability to implement and optimize algorithms, and apply data structures effectively in problem-solving scenarios.

  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and strategy development: Experience in using Python for manipulating and analyzing large datasets, developing strategies, and implementing solutions within the blockchain and MEV (Miner Extractable Value) contexts.

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy): Proficient in using Pandas and NumPy libraries for data manipulation, aggregation, and analysis. Ability to leverage these tools to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.

  • Knowledge of smart contract development: Understanding of Ethereum smart contracts and Solidity programming language would be advantageous, enabling interaction with blockchain data and development of MEV strategies.

  • Version control and collaboration tools: Familiarity with Git for version control and platforms like GitHub for collaborative development and project management.

  • Problem-solving and debugging skills: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and optimize code for efficiency and reliability, crucial for developing robust MEV strategies and blockchain solutions.

1.2. Modeling and Optimization Skills:

  • Experience in statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.

  • Experience in building models, parameterization, and optimization calculations.

1.3. Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Collaboration: Effective teamwork and communication.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in data analysis to ensure accuracy.

  • Adaptability: Flexible to adapt to the rapidly changing DeFi environment.

2. Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of blockchain technology and DeFi protocols.

  • Knowledge of algorithmic trading (quant-trading).
