- We are looking for a Software Engineer (Cloud Operations) as part of the CSS Department.
Your role & responsibilities
- Participate in delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance
- Responsible for operational support, front-line management of incidents or escalation points
- Assist with prioritization in dealing with multiple simultaneous incidents while effectively communicating issues and resolutions to relevant stakeholders
- Develop, implement and maintain processes to document day-to-day support activities/checklist, dashboard of work and communication of timelines and issues
- Develop scripts for running tasks automatically using different scripting languages
- Monitor/use/customize/extract/trace the logs on different monitoring tools
- Configure and maintain server auditing and network monitoring tools
- Participate in patching, mass upgrades and other planned maintenance activities for both infrastructure level (required) and application level (preferred)
- Participate in system administration duties for cloud-based server infrastructure
- Maintain and expand technical documentation of processes and procedures
- Able to present and communicate effectively on key findings to peers, management and other stakeholders to maintain positive and effective relationships
- Interface with applicable vendors and relevant teams on a regular basis to maintain cloud system/environment stability.
- Work with the Cloud Operation Team Lead to ensure overall service stability and sustainability
- Should be able to build configure and migrate servers
Your skills & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information
- Technology or related disciplines or relevant work experience
- Minimum 1 year of working experience (hand-on skills) with cloud infrastructure and services, and resources administration (i.e. AWS, Azure)
- Minimum 1 year of working experience of docker deployment, orchestration services (i.e. Kubernetes) and Linux Operating System (Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (i.e. Grafana, DataDog, Cloud Log Analytics) preferred
- Good problem detection and determination skills in multi functional cloud infrastructure and application on cloud environment.
- Good customer service orientation and an inherent sense of urgency and attention to details for resolving issues.
- Experience in server, network, cloud resources administration, equipped with troubleshooting and shell scripting skills for daily operations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and growing environment
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
- Relevant Cloud Ops certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
